About the OSF Volunteer Program

The Oklahoma State Fair, ranked among the top State Fairs in North America and often referred to as “Oklahoma’s Premier Family Attraction,” is rich in history and heritage. Part of that heritage is the Oklahoma State Fair Volunteer Program.

Volunteer Members are critical for the successful operation of the Fair each year. Their faithful service is the backbone of the Fair and, without them, it would not be possible to provide the level of hospitality, educational programs and children’s services to our guests, that Oklahoma State Fair is known for. The services provided by OSF Volunteers ensure that our Fair is one of the biggest and best in the country!

Volunteer Benefits

How to Become a Volunteer

The Oklahoma State Fair volunteer program offers a wide range of positions for our volunteer members to choose from. Join today to find your place in the FAIR!

1. COMPLETE BOTH VOLUNTEER FORMS
Complete and submit (mail or email) both the official Volunteer Application Form and Register for the shifts that you want to work: Volunteer Shift Registration Form.

Both forms are very important. Please fill out forms completely including signatures; incomplete forms will not be processed.

2. ATTEND VOLUNTEER TRAINING AND ORIENTATION
All volunteer members are required to attend a mandatory orientation/ training session that will be held just prior to the Fair. Attendance at this meeting is critical in order to receive the information necessary to perform your volunteer duties. Your parking pass, t-shirt and gate admission ticket(s) will be available for pick up at the orientation meeting.

We would like to encourage you to enroll in four or more shifts during the Fair, which qualifies you to receive FREE parking and gate admission privileges for all 11 days during the Fair! Volunteers having worked a minimum of 4 shifts during the fair also qualify to attend the annual Cinco de Mayo Fiesta, the annual Awards Banquet and other special events and benefits of the OSF Volunteer Program.

Early Bird Registration is May 5, each year. However, volunteers may register any time from May 5 through the beginning of the Fair in September. The earlier that you register, the more likely your favorite shifts will be available.
