Oklahoma State Fair Outstanding Teen Pageant Qualifier for the Oklahoma Outstanding Teen and Miss America Outstanding Teen Pageants 2011 marks the 4th year of this teen pageant. Young women between the ages of 13-17 are eligible to compete. The Miss Oklahoma State Fair Scholarship Pageant and the Oklahoma State Fair Outstanding Teen Pageant are held simultaneously. 5:00 p.m. 14 Flags Plaza Win Oklahoma State Fair Season and Parking Passes during the Opening Ceremony! 2011 marks the 105th Oklahoma State Fair. Join us at the Opening Ceremonies on Thursday, September 15 at 5:00 p.m. at the State Fair flagpole located on the East side of the circle at 14 Flags Plaza. Colors will be presented by the Capitol Hill High School Naval Junior ROTC. The National Anthem will be sung Mr. Scott Fleenor and signed by the beautiful 2011 Indian Princesses.

SCOTT FLEENORMr. Scott Fleenor grew up in Kansas and sang with an elite group called the Singing Quakers his freshman year in college. Currently, he attends The Academy of Contemporary Music through UCO, writes songs and performs throughout the Oklahoma City area. |

10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Carriage Hall If you are deaf or hard of hearing, special activities abound for you on Thursday, September 22! New this year is “DINGO” (Deaf Bingo) and performance by Miss Deaf Oklahoma 2011. At designated times throughout the day, many Fair attractions and entertainment will be interpreted. The schedule for shows being interpreted will be available in the Carriage Hall. Between shows, make your way to the Carriage Hall building for entertainment, organizations and vendors all catering to the deaf or hard of hearing.

4TH ANNUAL ARM WRESTLING CLASSIC

- Preliminary Round 1 • 1:30 p.m.
- Preliminary Round 2 • 3:00 p.m.

New Location and New Bedlam Format! – 14 Flags Plaza
Muscle bound and ready for the take down? Prove yourself on Sunday, September 25! Both men and women can register the day of the event to enter this FREE strong-arm competition. Here’s your chance to be this year’s Fair Champion, take home a trophy, bragging rights and represent the Oklahoma State Fair in the national finals competition this fall in Arizona. All competitors who win a match in their weight class will earn a national ranking and be posted on ARMWRESTLING USA’s website.
There will be competition in 7 divisions: 5 men’s and 2 women’s by special designated weight classes.
Every winner will be eligible to participate in the National Finals at the 2011 Arizona State Fair. The winners will officially represent their area, should they choose to go, at their own expense.

6:00 p.m. 14 Flags Plaza Help us celebrate the successes of the 2011 Fair while the Capitol Hill High School Naval Junior ROTC lowers the colors and the Indian Princesses and Mr. Scott Fleenor perform beautiful songs. Closing ceremonies are on Sunday, September 25 at 6:00 p.m. at the State Fair flagpole located on the East side of the circle at 14 Flags Plaza. But that doesn’t mean that the Fair is closed – the Flag may have been lowered, but your final Fair evening has just begun!
