At the Oklahoma State Fair
Be a Part of Creative Arts!
With many new contests and all your old favorites, it’s easier than ever to get in on the Creative Arts action at the Oklahoma State Fair! Each year, the Creative Arts Department showcases the work of talented Oklahomans of all ages in crafts like quilting, woodwork, baking, cooking, canning, photography, ceramics and painting. But did you know there’s a wagonload of other out-of-the-box categories? From duct tape creations to the salsa contest, recycled art to basket weaving, there is a competition for everyone. Be sure to check out our new “ON THE SPOT” contests for even more ways to share in the fun. Entry for all Creative Arts competitions is free when you register by August 15th, so flex your creative muscles and show us what you can do! Creative Arts Contest Results: Judging will be held on Monday, September 10 for Creative Arts Contests that don’t take place during the Fair. It takes several days for us to get the information from the judging sheets into our database so that we can produce the results sheets for the web. As soon as results are available, they will be posted.
