Who let the dogs out? Who, who, we did!  And, why not? These jump ropin’, frisby catchin’, acrobatic canines will have the audience pawing to see more. Trainer, Lou McCammon is a two-time World Champion Frisbee Dog Trainer. He and his canine flight crew have entertained all ages the past three years as the most energetic, innovative and cutting-edge Fair attraction featuring the “coolest” collection of man’s best friend.

NEW! High Flying “Distance” Dock Jumping Stretch, little dog, stretch! For 2010, Lou Mack is adding a distance dock jumping element to his already exciting stunt dog show. Fear of water is not part these canine’s “bark-cabulary."

Clear Channel wants to find one true Okie Karaoke Star among some real quality talent. Each day of the fair, station personalities will broadcast all day to encourage listeners to come to the Fair to compete for their chance to be the next Okie Karaoke Star. Stay tuned for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes . . . Sign up begins at 6:00 p.m., contest starts at 7:00 p.m. Must be 18 years of age or older to participate. Rich adds rope spinning to his bag of tricks and at one time held the World's record for the largest "wedding ring" spinning loop. Maybe he’ll invite you into his ropin’ ring.

Horsemen demonstrate their equine skills through various riding techniques including trick and roman riding.

 

Melissa Navarre - Born into a rodeo family, Melissa has stunt work running through her veins. Her mom taught her how to trick ride and now Melissa brings her beauty and grace to arenas throughout the US. Melissa has performed multiple times at the Wrangler National Finals, and has been nominated 3 times for PRCA's Specialty Act of the Year.

 

Trisa Gratny – Stunt riding runs through Trisa's veins. She has grown up entertaining rodeo fans, along with her parents and two older brothers. When she was little she would ride atop her dad's shoulders and now as a young woman she can hold her own. Trisa and her high powered horse, "Courage," make a great stunt team.

 

Wendy Lattin - A cowgirl born a hundred years too late, she is a natural in the Wild West Show. Windy rides at break neck speeds and adds vaulting, rope spinning, and fancy trick riding to the show. The 2010 Oklahoma State Fair welcomes the bluegrass band Dustbowl Gypsies back to the Centennial Frontier Experience. Dustbowl Gypsies have been brightening the lives of Bluegrass fans in the southwest for the past five years with their high-energy performances, tight harmonies and instrumental virtuosity.

Playing an enjoyable mix of old favorites and new standards - everything from traditional Bill Monroe to modern Vince Gill, plus a sprinkling of the unexpected, Dustbowl Gypsies will put a smile on your face and a tap in your foot. The group brings over a century of collective Bluegrass experience to the stage. So come on over and enjoy some of the best Bluegrass this side of the Red River!

This group of Artisan Blacksmiths return for their 2nd year to enlighten fairgoers about the art and skill of blacksmithing. Although earlier day Blacksmiths forged items out of necessity, today's blacksmiths are using those same skills to make everything from tools and decorative pieces to jewelry. Then he’ll stand tall…really, really tall…as he climbs on top of some seriously long wooden sticks. Do you mind getting wet?  If not, who knows… you may get picked to try your hand, or should we say feet, at log rolling!
