As you pass through the rugged entrances and split rail fencing, take a step back in time to Oklahoma’s extraordinary past featuring Wild West antics, Indian dancers, native wildlife and much more. Both children and adults will find it hard to leave. Through the creative combination of entertainers, demonstrators and exhibitors, it promises to provide an “experience” that fairgoers will never forget. New for 2009 are the Saltfork Artists-Blacksmiths, craftsman bowl turner, Roger Abrahamson and musical entertainment, Southbound Mule. |

Playing an enjoyable mix of old favorites and new standards - everything from traditional Bill Monroe to modern Vince Gill, plus a sprinkling of the unexpected, Southbound Mule will put a smile on your face and a tap in your foot. The five members – TJ Wesnidge, Doug Stafford, Darrel Carender, Verlon Stidham and Joe Peach – bring over a century of collective Bluegrass experience to the stage. So strap on your ‘mule ears’ and enjoy some of the best Bluegrass this side of the Red River! For the weekday performances, a modified version of the full band will be on hand to entertain you. The entire group will be performing on the weekends and during the 7:00 Wild West Showcase each evening.
