State Fair Academy

State Fair Academy is a special program designed to provide Oklahoma students with the opportunity to have a fun, safe, and education experience at the Oklahoma State Fair while helping teachers achieve Oklahoma Academic Standard objectives. This program is open to Oklahoma students. 

Eligibility

Public, private, charter schools and homeschool groups, grades 1 through 5, are eligible to attend the Academy. Each homeschool group must include a minimum of 12 children.

Dates & Times

Academy Dates: Tuesday, September 22 through Friday, September 25

Registration Opens: Saturday, August 1

Registration Deadline: Wednesday, September 9

Public, private and charter school arrival times: 8:30 – 11 a.m. daily

Homeschool arrival times: 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. daily

Note: Oklahoma State Fair, Inc. reserves the right to cancel State Fair Academy dates and/or times when necessary due to low enrollment. 

Cost

State Fair Academy registration includes outside gate admission for Academy students, one qualified adult chaperone for every four students and the school bus driver, and parking passes for school buses and three vehicles per bus, or one vehicle per four Academy students.

Non-registered attendees will need to purchase an outside gate admission ticket and parking pass. Details and pricing can be found on our hours & admission page

General Info

Enrollment is first-come, first-served. Please be sure to complete the multiple arrival preferences on the registration form. Confirmations must be completed in order to finalize the field trip. Be sure to reserve space early and provide the best estimate as to class size, etc.
