Fair Information

Accessibility

OKC Fair Park offers both services and amenities to accommodate our guests with disabilities or who need a little more assistance or consideration during their visit. To help guests navigate the different offerings and services related to accessibility during the Oklahoma State Fair, we’ve created a specific guide. This guide will be available below on or before August 31, 2025.

We want to hear from you! To better understand the needs and desires of our fairgoing public, we invite you to participate in our accessibility survey at the link below. This survey is intended to gauge the needs and interests of respondents whether attending the Fair or not; however, if attending the Fair, please wait until after attending so that a response inclusive of that experience can be recorded. This survey will be open until October 17,2025, so there is plenty of time to let us know your thoughts. Any information gathered will be kept private and used only by Oklahoma State Fair, Inc. and the Developmental Disabilities Council of Oklahoma (under the terms of its federal funding). Contact information or other data will not be shared for marketing or any other purposes. Thank you in advance for your participation in the survey.

Momentum Refresh Accessible Mobile Restroom

LOCATION: The Circle, in front of the Modern Living Building

Momentum Refresh is the first-ever universal design mobile restroom resource in the U.S. Located on The Circle, guests will find this revolutionary vehicle open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and manned by trained personnel who will assist guests in the use of the vehicle and clean between uses. The presence of this vehicle is sponsored by the Developmental Disabilities Council of Oklahoma and the Oklahoma State Fair.

“This project is provided and funded by the Developmental Disabilities Council of Oklahoma, supported by grant numbers 2301 OKSCDD and 2401 OKSCDD by the U.S. Administration for Community Living, Department of Health and Human Services, Washington D.C. 20201. Grantees undertaking projects with government sponsorship are encouraged to express freely their findings and conclusions. Points of view or opinion do not, therefore, necessarily represent official ACL policy.”

Calming Spaces

Three unique locations will be available during this year’s Fair:  the Arts Annex, the Momentum Refresh Trailer, and near Gate 9. These spaces are available for guests who need a break from the hustle and bustle of the Fair, such as those on the autism spectrum or who have sensory processing challenges. Special thanks to Square Holes, a local neurodiversity consulting firm, and Developmental Disabilities Council of Oklahoma for assisting in the development of these areas.

Sensory-Friendly Time

The crowds and sights and sounds of the Oklahoma State Fair may be a bit overstimulating for some fairgoers. In recognition of that, the final Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., will feature special activities for guests who may enjoy their visit in a less noisy and less bright atmosphere. Find details in the Sensory-Friendly guide, to be posted soon.

Priority Seating Rest Stops

The Oklahoma State Fair has a multitude of seating options for resting, eating, and watching entertainment throughout the grounds. For those with conditions that may require a rest stop as they make their way to these activities or to the two largest entry gates, Accessibility Priority Seating Rest Stops have been created. Each of these five locations will have two benches and a large, multi-color paneled umbrella marking the spot. Signage noting the purpose of the short-term rest stops will be visible, reminding the public of the purpose.
