Sensory-Friendly Time

Sunday, September 27 - 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The crowds and sights and sounds of the Oklahoma State Fair may be a bit overstimulating for some fairgoers. In recognition of that, every day of the Fair, a sensory-friendly area is available in the Arts Annex to take a short break and get re-energized to start exploring the Fair again. The final Sunday, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., will feature some special activities for guests who may enjoy their visit in a less noisy and less bright atmosphere. These activities, in addition to the Fair’s daily offerings that may be more quiet or less crowded at certain times, will be gathered into a guide that can be found on our accessibility page, once available.

LOCATION: Modern Living Building

Sunday, September 27 – noon to 6 p.m.

Join us for the first-ever Accessibility Expo at the Oklahoma State Fair, a celebration of inclusion, innovation, and community! This exciting new event brings together organizations, artists, vendors, and advocates working to support and empower disabled Oklahomans and their families.
